건강을 위해 투자하는 국민당 정부 / National is investing in the health of Kiwis

접근하기 쉬운 고품질의 의료 서비스를 제공하는 것은 국민당 정부의 최우선 순위 입니다.  

정부는 이 목표를 이루기 위해 최선을 다했으며, 우리는 보건에 이전보다 더 많이 투자하며, 더 나은 결과를 얻고 있다고 자신있게 말할 수 있습니다. 

지난주 정부가 발표한 새로운 자료에 의하면 만13세 이하 무료 일반의 방문을 통해 더 많은 가정의 자녀들이 필요한 치료를 받고 있습니다. 이 제도에 99% 이상의 일반의가 서명했습니다.

자료에 의하면 이 정책이 발표된 후 12개월 동안, 190,807명 이상의 어린이들이 일반의를 방문했으며- 이것은 그 전 해와 비교했을 때 16.6%가 증가한 수치입니다. 

병원 응급실에는 1,600명의 환자가 줄어 들었습니다. 또한 처방된 의약품 증가로 인해 약품에 대한 접근이 증가되었으며, 이것은 비용 개선이 약품에 대한 접근을 개선하였음을 보여줍니다.  이 $90 million의 시책을 통해, 78만 명이 넘는 만13세 이하 어린이들이 무료  일반의 방문 및 무료 처방전으로 인해 혜택을 받고 있습니다. 

정부의 보건서비스 전략 중 또 다른 주요 부문은 뉴질랜드의 노인들의 필요를 채우는 것입니다.

뉴질랜드 국민들이 더 건강하게 오래 살면서 대기 수술 접근성에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있습니다. 

현 정부 아래, 대기 수술을 받는 환자들 숫자가 45%가 증가했습니다. 

현재 지역 보건부는 만 65세 이상 시민들에게 보건 및 장애 서비스를 제공하기 위해 $4.5 billion 이상을 투자하고 있습니다.

이 투자는 2025/26년 도까지 지역 보건부의 지출의 50%까지 증가할 것으로 예상되며, 이것은 이 연령대의 예측된 성장을 바탕으로 내다보고 있습니다. 

정부의 또 다른 주요 포커스는 정신 건강입니다.

5명 중 1명 꼴로 뉴질랜드 국민들은 일생 동안 정신적 질환을 경험할 것이며, 국민들이 그들에게 필요한 적절한 서비스를 이용하는 것은 중요합니다. 그렇기 때문에 정부는 정신 건강 및 중독 서비스에 대한 투자를 늘렸으며, 2015/16년 도에 $1.4 billion 이상의 투자가 이루어졌습니다. 

정부는 이전보다 더 많이 보건에 투자하고 있으며, 모든 뉴질랜드 국민들이 자랑스러워 할 수 있을 정도의 세계적 보건 시스템을 갖추기 위해 알맞는 프로그램에 투자하고 있습니다. 

Delivering high quality and accessible health services is a priority for the National-led Government.

We have been worked hard to achieve this goal, and I’m proud to say we are investing more than ever before into health and getting better results.

Last week we released new data which shows more families are getting the care they need for their children as a result of our free GP visits for under 13s.

More than 99 per cent of general practices signing up to the scheme.

The data shows that in the 12 months since the policy was introduced, 190,807 more children have visited their GP - 16.6 per cent more compared to the same time last year.

There has been an encouraging decrease of 1,600 presentations to hospital emergency departments. We have also seen an increase in access to medicines, with the number of prescriptions dispensed increased, showing that the removal of costs has improved access to medicines.

As a result of this $90 million initiative, more than 780,000 children under 13 are benefiting from free GP visits and free prescriptions

Another important part of our healthcare strategy is ensuring we can meet the needs of our senior citizens.

As New Zealanders live longer, healthier lives, access to elective surgery becomes increasingly important. 

Under this Government, the number of patients receiving elective surgery has increased by 45 per cent. 

Currently District Health Board's spend more than $4.5 billion on providing health and disability services to people aged 65 years and older. 

Based on the forecast growth of this age group, this spend is expected to rise to 50 per cent of DHB expenditure by 2025/26.

Another key focus area for the Government is mental health. 

One in five New Zealanders will experience a mental health issue during their lifetime, therefore its important people can access the appropriate services that they need. That’s why we’ve increased mental health and addiction services funding to over $1.4 billion for 2015/16.

The Government is spending more on health than ever before and funding the right programs to ensure we have a world-class health system that all New Zealanders can be proud of.
