뉴질랜드 통계청은 공공장소에서 발생한 폭행, 성폭력, 강도 등의 강력범죄가 다수 발생한 지역을 통계화한 자료를 발표하였다. 여행자, 워홀러 등 우리국민들께서는 아래 지역방문시 유의하기 바란다고 알렸다.
Auckland CBD - Victoria St. West and Wellesley St. West, Queen St. and Elliot St.
Wellington - The area around Courtenay Place
Christchurch - The area between St Asaph St and Moorhouse Ave , bordering the city’s central police station.
Queenstown - The area between Marine Parade and Camp St
Dunedin - The south-eastern quarter of the Octagon precinct
