My husband and I operate a homestay just 10 minutes walk from Auckland city center.

We have been homestay hosts for over 20 years.

Our home is conveniently located to transport, shopping, restaurants, universities, language schools, and local supermarkets.

We think you will find that the convenience of living close to the city is a huge advantage, and it saves you money as you don't need transport to the city because you're already in the city! 
Although we are close to the city, we live in a very quiet street, which is across the street from Victoria Park. We offer a friendly, caring and secure environment. 
We offer a private fully furnished room for either one, or two students, with your own shower and toilet. Services include utilities, food, prepared dinners, broadband internet access, Sky TV and, most of all, a warm and friendly home. 
We like you to feel included as part of our family. 
Our convenient location makes things very easy for you as you will not need to pay for transportation as the city is only a short walk from our house. If you need a bus, the bus stop is just 50 meters from our home. 
We usually prefer females, but would consider a male with clean and tidy habits :) 
Also, we only accept students or travelers who are at least 18 years old. 
Our fee is only NZ$270 per week. When you consider our convenient location, and clean and secure situation, with no need for transportation costs, we are considered great value. Commuting to and from your school or job can be very expensive and take a lot of valuable time out of your day. Our students can simply walk to any one of the language schools or universities in the Auckland CBD. 
We are the closest Homestay to the Auckland city center. We are close to all the language schools and universities. 
With our local and international knowledge, and homestay experience, we are also happy to assist in any way we can with your English conversation. We have both been professional English teachers with over 10 years experience.
