Korean Cultural Support Worker (Call Centre Staff)
– Fixed Term Full Time for 8 Months

We are seeking a bi-lingual (Korean and English speaking) call centre staff to work full time for 8 months on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.  The hours of work are between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and the role is based in the vicinity of North Shore Hospital.  Your primary focus is to process interpreting requests and provide culture and language support for Korean clients.

Successful candidates must:
- have a minimum of Year 13 (NCEA Level 3) or equivalent
- be fluent in oral and written Korean and English
- be familiar with Korean culture
- have very good phone handling and customer service skills
- have 1-2 years customer service experience
- have good communication and interpersonal skills
- be competent with MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel and Korean translation applications
- have excellent and accurate data entry skills
- have the ability to learn quickly and be flexible and proactive
- be able to work well as part of a team

In addition, some knowledge of New Zealand health system would be an advantage.
