Warehouse Manger/ Stock Controller – Full time
Tasman PFV is established as New Zealand main wholesaler and supplier of fire protection, fire hydrant, plumbing, HVAC and electrical market. We are looking for Warehouse Manger/ Stock Controller to work in our warehouse (7am to 4pm weekdays).
We are looking for this position for our Auckland Branch.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
Managing the inventory process
• Directing warehouse team in daily work flow and logistics processes
• Controlling and monitoring inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Control stock for multiple branches and have reasonable knowledge which products are in which location
• Control Stock and print out reports using our system
• When the products comes in, arrange them in our warehouse in appropriate location
• Do a stocktake when it is needed
Experience working in a plumbing and fire environment would be advantageous, however some training will be provided.
This role requires:
• Experience in warehouse management
• Excellent Communications skills to operative, senior managers, colleagues, customers & suppliers.
• Communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
• Experience of managing and motivating a team.
• Good understanding of Logistics and Distribution is essential.
• Understanding of Exonet system or similar is mandatory.
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. to a good level.
• Full clean driving license.
This role will be both busy and demanding and will be required to showcase a variety of skills including warehousing, inventory management, and strong data entry skills.
