Te Manu Toroa is a Kaupapa Maori health provider and is committed to being an EEO employer, currently has a vacancy for a Practice Nurse within our GP clinics in Tauranga, Papamoa and Te Puke.

This is a full time position. We also have vacancies for a casual pool. We offer a sound orientation package. We are able to offer secondary care trained nurses opportunities to transition into primary healthcare as well. Hours are normal business hours from Monday to Friday. Shift work or weekends are not applicable in this role.

The key attributes required and/or preferred for in this role are:

• Practice or community nursing experience.
• Understanding of Te Reo me ona Tikanga or a real willingness to learn.
• Immunisation certification preferred or willingness to complete.
• Preferred experience with Medtech 32 * Practice Management System or experienced with other patient management systems.
