AIC Accommodation Supervisors
Auckland International College requires live-in supervisors for its boarding house in Avondale, Auckland. We are currently looking for two applicants to fill two part time roles. AIC boarding houses provide a home for secondary students living away from home. We are an English speaking community with staff and students from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. in this position you will provide student support, supervise students, and provide assistance to the Accommodation Manager.
Requirements of the position are as follows;
1. Have a genuine interest in young people from international backgrounds
2. Any nationality welcome, but a high command of English is essential.
3. Be friendly and approachable.
4. Preferred to have previous experience in a boarding school or hostel environment
5. Be willing to undertake job specific training
First Aid Training is preferred but we are committed to training staff if courses have expired or requirements are not met. This position exchanges a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and meals. You will be required to work around 15 hours per week on a rostered basis including some evenings and weekends. Applicants will be police vetted before appointment.
