I want to thank all New Zealanders who voted in the September 20 general election.

Obviously the result for National was gratifying, and was a strong message from the public that they have supported the direction we have taken in government over the last six years.

You can be assured you that the new National-led Government has a clear plan to support higher growth, more jobs, higher incomes, and better public services.

We want to see New Zealanders and their families get ahead.

Getting the Government’s books back to surplus and building strong surpluses in the future remains a challenge.

Returning to surplus means we can start repaying debt built up to support the most vulnerable New Zealanders through the recession and to rebuild Canterbury.

New Zealand’s economic growth of 3.9 per cent in the year to June was the highest in a decade.

But one or two years of growth will not change our economic prosperity. We need to stay on this course for many years to really lift our long-term economic performance.

National will implement a number of policies to lift our long-term growth rate.

One of these initiatives is to reform the Resource Management Act to provide more certainty, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in decision-making.

National is negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with Korea, which we hope to conclude successfully.  We will also be pushing to conclude a successful Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, with all the consequent benefits that will bring.,

Our plans include doubling the level of business research and development investment to 1 per cent of GDP by 2018 so that more of our innovative hi-tech businesses succeed on the world stage.

We will increase the footprint of the Ultrafast Broadband rollout from 75 per cent to 80 per cent of New Zealand homes, businesses, schools and hospitals, and extend Rural Broadband so that all parts of New Zealand have access to high-speed broadband.

We will pass the Employment Relations Bill to ensure flexible labour markets that create more jobs for Kiwis.

And we will continue to remove chokepoints and improve safety on our roads by rolling out the next stages of the Roads of National Significance projects.

If we stay on track over the next three years, we can expect higher wages and more jobs for New Zealanders. It is only by having a strong economy that we can lift opportunities and incomes for families and invest more in the public services they rely on.

정부 재정을 흑자로 전환하고 미래에 더 많은 흑자를 내는 경제를 건설하는 것은 도전 과제로 남아있습니다. 흑자재정 복귀는 취약 계층을 지원하고 캔터베리 재건을 위해 증가한 국가 부채를 갚아나가기 시작한다는 것을 의미합니다.

올해 들어 6월까지 경제성장률은 3.9%를 기록함으로써 우리 경제는 지난 10년 동안 가장 높은 성장세를 기록하고 있습니다.

하지만 1, 2년의 단기 성장은 경제 전반에 대한 변화를 가져오지는 않습니다. 장기간의 경제활동을 향상시키기 위해서는 오랜 기간 높은성장률을유지해야합니다.

국민당은 장기적인 경제 성장을 이루기 위해 다수의 정책을 실행할 계획입니다.

‘자원관리법’(Resource Management Act)을 개혁하는 것은 정부 정책 중 하나입니다. 자원관리법 개혁을 통해 투명성과 시의적절성 및 의사결정의 효율성을 높일 예정입니다.

국민당은 한국과의 FTA 협상을 진행하고 있습니다. 저희는 한국과의 협상이 성공적인 결론에 이를 것으로 기대하고 있습니다. 환태평양경제동반자협정(Trans-Pacific Partnership)도 성공적으로 마무리하기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.

비즈니스 연구와 개발 투자를 두 배로 늘려 2018 년 까지 국내총생산(GDP)의 1% 까지 투자를 늘릴 계획입니다. 이를 통해 혁신적인 첨단기술을 보유한 업체들은 세계 무대에서 성공할 수 있습니다.

가정과 비즈니스, 학교, 병원 등의 초고속 인터넷망 설치를 75%에서 80%로 늘릴 계획입니다. 지방 광대역 사업(Rural Broadband)을 확충함으로써 뉴질랜드 전역에서 초고속 인터넷망을 사용할 수 있습니다.

‘고용관계법’(Employment Relations Bill)을통과시켜유동적인노동시장을만들어더많은일자리를만들어 나가겠습니다.

국가주요도로프로젝트의 다음 단계를 착수해 교통정체지역을줄이고교통안전 정책을 지속적으로실천해나가겠습니다.

앞으로 3년 동안 정부가 수립한 정책을 제대로 실천한다면 높은 소득은물론더많은일자리를예상할수있습니다.
국민들에게더많은기회를제공하고가족소득향상및공공서비스투자를늘리는길은 오직 강력한경제를건설하는것입니다.
