Fireworks ban for parks and beaches
To keep beaches and parks safe for everyone, fireworks are banned from public places unless authorized by the local board. The only outdoor fires permitted in public places are cooking fires, which must be contained in a barbecue, brazier, pizza oven. Bonfires are not allowed on public or private property in urban areas.
Remember: Read fireworks instructions carefully.
Light fireworks in a wide open space, away from buildings.
Never try to relight fireworks that haven’t gone off.
Keep a bucket of water or a hose handy.
Keep pets inside on Guy Fawkes Night (Wednesday 5 November).
